General contents

The voice

One will work in his double slope, language and song, as means of expression par excellence in the students of these ages. The students will have to know and to sing an ample repertoire of suitable infantile songs to the scope of their voice, to recite rythmically verses and tongue-twister and to stage stories and histories, as well as to discover the multiple possibilities that he has the voice as instrument.

The contact with the sonorous sources

Through diverse materials, objects and instruments, with one double purpose:

  • To discover, to recognize and to differentiate the different qualities from the sound and their relation with the materials that produce it, the size of the same and the form to touch them.
  • To develop necessary the motor capacities for its use.

The recognition of nonconventional spellings

Parameters referred to the duration, intensity, height, stamp, etc.

The auditory perception and the musical thought

Through recognition of interv¡licas distances, great or small, of free melodic improvisations, simple formal arrangements - imitation, asks/to answer or variation, of hearing associated to small narrations or drawings with diversity of materials, pitch as atonal, as much metric or of free rate.

The movement

Employee as means of expression and motor, visual and auditory sensitization to know the own body, to develop the rythmical security, the spatio-temporal sense and the sense of dynamics and to favor the relations with other companions and the group.

Corporal percussion - For third level of Music and movement and basic Formation

This factory is focused to develop the sense of the rate, the coordination and musical quality by means of exercises of corporal percussion, dances and instrumental set. The differentiating characteristic of this subject in relation to the solf¨ge, the music of camera and the particular classes of instruments is the approach and the material with which it works: the body as percussion instrument; the didactic materials: chairs, writing desks, lecterns, small daily objects, you sweep, umbrella, fans, papers, woods€¦ as well as Orff instruments: metal³fonos, xylophones, carrillones, instruments of small percussion.

The variety of the material with that we worked induces the boy to perceive its surroundings as a sonorous landscape susceptible to produce music. This way, we did not limit the musical execution the classic instrument or the solf¨ge, but we developed the creativity and we underwent in our own body rythmical structures, often very outposts, that become, by means of dances and corporal or instrumental percussion, in simple games. The boy prepares of this form for the work of the solf¨ge with a baggage and an integral experience of the compasses and rates that will work ahead but.

Certain acquired skills psychomotor from very small stimulate in the adult individual a greater development of some mental abilities and favor a type of thought but agile and able to relate different things. The mind and the body form a set that registers the experiences than we do as a whole, distributing it in different registries: emotional, mental and motor, among others.
The force of the experience never can be replaced by the theory, and with this subject we try that from very small the students they live music as we lived a day of sun in the face.


  • Corporal percussion.
  • Exercises with sound objects.
  • Melodic and rythmical dramatisations.
  • Orff instrumentation and small percussion.
  • Creation and investigation, on the part of the students, of activities related to the exposition of the subject.

Instrumental practice

In this stage it will be oriented to the students towards the election of an instrument. From the 4 years they will be able to decide on violin, cello or piano. More ahead, as of the 6 or 7 years, between the other instruments.
